A beautiful chocolate mug and lid by Carlton Ware in the yellow colourway which was introduced in the late 1930's.  It has the number 1808 impressed to the base.
 
It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains.  There is fine all over crazing to the mug and minor crazing to the lid which is typical of a piece of this age.
 
Dimensions - mug - 11 cms high, 8¼ cms rim dia. - lid - 9½ cms dia., 1½ cms high (measurements are approximate)
