A beautiful teapot by Carlton Ware in the yellow colourway which was introduced in 1936 until the 1940's.  It has the numbers 1522/3 impressed to the base.  This is the smallest teapot made.
 
It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing which is typical of a piece of this age.
 
Dimensions - 11cm high, 17½ cms from handle to spout (measurements are approximate)
