A beautiful large ewer by Carlton Ware in the green colourway which was first introduced in the early 1940's.
 
It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has fine all over crazing which is typical for a piece of this age.
 
Dimensions - 26½ cms high, 13 cms base dia., 16 cms handle to spout (measurements are approximate)
