A beautiful tall cream jug by Carlton Ware in the rarer blue colourway which was introduced in sometime during the war period from 1942 to 1945.  It has the number 1960 impressed to the base.
 
It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing which is typical of a piece of this age.
 
Dimensions - 9 cms high, 11 cms handle to spout (measurements are approximate)
