A beautiful large ewer by Carlton Ware in the yellow colourway which was first introduced in 1934.  The Anemone pattern was one of the first "floral embossed" ranges made by Carlton Ware.
 
It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips or cracks, and has very minor crazing which is typical for a piece of this age.  The crazing is to the main body of the ewer only, near the base of the handle and is very minor.  There is also a small amount of staining to the inside area of the spout but is very hard to see as it blends in with the pattern.
