I am a married man in my late 50s looking for a collaborator to help me structure a concept CD from 40 mins of existing instrumental material (guitar and keyboard) - some of the pieces already seem to flow together ... I'm sure others can with the right tweaking.  Music contributions will be welcomed but hopefully the collaborator will also bring constructive criticism, fresh ideas and practical expertise.  I've worked best in the past with someone to bouce ideas off.  (Currently I can't see the woods for the trees ... and once I get into ProTools, my creative juices disappear.)  I'm a competent acoustic guitarist, keyboardist and singer able to read music, and have recorded 2 CDs in commercial studios.  A CD of original songs is on iTunes/CD-Baby and won an award and several plaudits. I have acoustic guitars, bass guitar, real piano, MIDI-input keyboard, reasonable mics, ProTools8/MBox 2, and good computer.  I lack the detailed music theory that a music graduate would have. You can trust me to pull my weight on the project while having a lot of fun, and I have the flexibility to work on this project most days, evenings and weekends. What's in it for YOU? ....   RIGHTS: standard registration with APRA as per effort .. arranging, producing, writing, cowriting, recording performance.  MONEY: nothing up front ... revenue sharing if thing get played/sold.  It would make a great Film/TV soundtrack; parts may be suitable for commercials etc., but I don't have any industry knowledge for placement. PERFORMING. No reason why this can't be performed live (it's solo/duo in present form).  I'd help, but I'm not an up-front person and have no contacts with venues.   DISTRIBUTION: Already a CD-Baby member, I can assure placement of the CD and individual tracks for potential no-cost digital distribution/sales.
